What

LUNE ONE’s goal is to train and support emerging researchers on professional and personal skills and resources to deliver quality research outputs from answering important research questions. We are building the structure to develop the research workforce pipelines in African countries.

Who

We focus on undergraduates and early postgraduate students who are keen to be world-class researchers and are enthusiastic about leading research work that results in meaningful impact and builds on global knowledge.

How

Participants will collaborate with research mentors to work on a research topic, while concurrently attending 1-hour classes weekly for 12 weeks. In the final month, participants will share a presentation about their research work and discuss their experiences. At the end of the program, participants will get a certificate of completion.

When

The program will run for 4 months. Applications will open soon.

ABOUT

LUNE ONE

LUNE ONE is a 4 month virtual program for emerging researchers to understand the basics and standards of conducting research. LUNE ONE also provides personal and professional skills that researchers need to complete a research project as well as the mentorship needed to guide them to remain committed and excited about their progress. Graduates of LUNE ONE can undergo full research procedures whether for academic or commercial programs, moving from research questions to analysis and synthesis. This program is currently FREE.
