Paula Nwakaji

Paula is an undergraduate law student at Rivers State University. With a passion for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), corporate and commercial law, finance and tax law, she is carving a unique path towards a successful legal career.
As a dedicated and driven individual, she has immersed herself in various aspects of the legal profession. She has successfully interned at prestigious International law firms such as Ashurst, London and Latham & Watkins, USA. These experiences have allowed her to understand the intricacies of corporate and commercial law, and develop a strong foundation in finance and tax law. As an undergraduate, she currently holds the esteemed position of Director of Research within the Dispute Resolution Society, Principal partner/Head of the student law firm of Nabo Graham- Douglas Chambers, immediate past Director, Career development of the Tax Club, RSU, Publicity Secretary, Intellectual Property Law Club, RSU amongst others.
Outside professional endeavors, Paula enjoys mentoring, researching for opportunities, networking and engaging in enriching discussions. Her mind being her greatest asset, she’s constantly creating and aiming for more.
