He’s an experienced business strategist whose mission is to help build technology solutions to business challenges, and provide technical support for entrepreneurs, startups & growing businesses in Nigeria & Africa at large. He builds businesses, products and people.
In his eight-year career as a Business Developer & program manager expert, he has honed his business development, project implementation & execution, and financial management skills, in organizing top-notch impactful and highly successful projects & programs which have led to most stakeholders he has worked with having a very high degree of confidence in what he does. He has also helped with business empowerment for small businesses which includes great innovative strategies in executing several projects within and outside Nigeria.
He currently works with a FinTech startup, Crop2Cash which is a digital pathway for smallholder farmers. His expertise and passion for impact lie in successfully developing and implementing business strategies, capacity building to business, business implementation, execution, and smarts in handling business operations. Over the years, He has interacted with relevant actors in the Agricultural value chain, which has enabled him to lead and handle different projects successfully in several sectors of the economy, and business mentoring both within and outside the Country. His good understanding of the value chain and great network with the stakeholders give him an edge to deliver on any projects that come my way.
In his current role at Crop2Cash as a Business Development Executive, he currently leads a team that secured over $1.5m in grants in the last twelve months and closed several B2B partnership deals as well. He’s responsible for enabling smallholder farmers in rural Nigeria to receive digital payments and have access to Agric input and other services while building their financial identity. Provide innovative strategy to team members in the area of acquisitions, business support and partners’ relation support. Currently implementing projects with USAID, GSMA and other partners to scale our operations. In his previous role at Wennovation Hub, he has exhibited various skillsets around team hiring, budget drafting, creating systems and optimizing current processes, and leadership skills at both local and international levels.
He has his first and second degrees in Agricultural Engineering and a certification in project management which has helped him in his career thus far! He’s open to innovation and providing businesses with the right business principles.
